Subject: DRM-take 1...and it's defeat
After the Japanese-invasion paranoia-fest, there is a quick review of Copy2PC, a program designed to defeat copy protection of period software--and a succinct explanation of why legitimate users might need such software.

"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it".

Subject: A great flashback
This is a pretty good episode. Of course there is the fear of a Japanese technology invasion. Why didn't the show worry about the US exporting to the rest of the world?

Highlights of the show include:
First showing of the CDROM
Discussion about the lousy MSX architecture, and
Compaq making an IBM AT compatible.

Subject: Xenophobia!
This is giggle-inducing, as it paints Japan as an evil force ready to take the American PC world by storm! It's unneccessary xenophobic hilarity at its very best, plus there's amazing footage of mid-Eighies Akihabara in Tokyo. A must see!
